What's the Process for Genshin Impact Banners?
Each version of Genshin Impact would have new character banners featuring two distinct characters. There would be two 15-day stages, with one phase featuring just one banner. Genshin Impact, however, introduced a second banner in each phase and now two exclusive characters emerge in each phase as a result of the character rooster's expansion and players' demands for reruns of their beloved old characters. The pity is shared, so if you make a wish on banner one and have 40 pity, making a wish on banner two counts as your 42nd wish.
Each Genshin Impact edition lasts 42 days, give or take a few, and that time is evenly divided between the two-character banner stages; specifically, one phase lasts for 21 days or three weeks, and the second banner phase lasts for the same amount of time. The Covid breakout in China, however, was the reason for one case where new banners weren't added and players were forced to use the Ayaka banner for months at a time.
Each phase still only has one weapon banner, which in phase one features the iconic weapons of both characters. In addition, the permanent banner is unchanged.
Current Character and Weapon Banners in Genshin Impact 3.8
The Everlasting Moonglow and Ubaydullah's Remembrance, respectively, are Saginomiya Kokomi and Wanderer's hallmark weapons in the current phase of version 3.8 flags. In around two weeks, the present limited-character banners expire.
The second phase of Genshin Impact's most recent version, 3.8, is now underway. The Song of Broken Pines and Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, Eula, and Klee's distinctive weapons, were featured on the weapon banner in the first phase of the Genshin Impact 3.8 limited banner.
The four-star characters that appear on both character banners are:

- Yanfei
On the current weapon banner, the following items have four stars:
- Wine and Song
- Lion’s Roar
- The Bell
- Dragon’s Bane
- Favonius Warbow
The only recent additions to the permanent character and weapon banner in Genshin Impact are Dehya and Tighnari in version 3.x. Although it is anticipated that after Genshin Impact version 4.0 is released, more characters will be included to the permanent banner.

Banners from Genshin Impact Next
Lyney will join Yelan as a new five-star character in Genshin Impact 4.0, and their respective signature weapons, The First Great Magic and Aqua Simulacra, will be included in the phase one weapon banner. The Vortex Vanquisher and Polar Star, Zhongli and Childe's iconic weapons from Genshin Impact 4.0, will be featured on the second phase banner.
